Built by the Khedive Ismail in the 1860′s , Abdeen Palace is a beauty. Today it is the official Egyptian President’s residence and is said to have 500 rooms and cost 700,000 Egyptian pounds and further 2 million to furnish. Fadfadation, one of my favorite Egyptian bloggers, has some really beautiful pictures which are definitely worth seeing.
