What’s in a name?

Well a lot I guess, your name is your address to the world, it defines you and you define it. Your name might indicate your culture or where you come from and maybe even a little bit about your parents. Having a name that is common in most countries is always a good thing if you travel a lot. Like everything else names follow trends, in the Arab/Muslim world Mohammad is a very common name, actually most guys and their uncle are called Mohammad and in University I remember that there were 2 Mohammad for every other named person on campus. Britain has seen a rise in this trend as well, although only 3% of the population in Britain is Muslim, Mohammad is this year’s 2nd most used name for newborns. In an article by Times Online, it is mentioned that although there are 14 different spellings of the name, combined it is second to Jack this year.
