First day of Ramadan

I am exhausted, it was a long day and fasting with a baby is different.  Her schedule is out of wack, we are waking up later and even her feeding and nap schedule has been affected.  I also tried napping myself but she was awake and wanted to play.  Otherwise it was a great day.  We had people over for Iftar and I had to cook which I enjoy doing.  The best hit was the mini sambousas which the kids loved and ate only them.  They took two hours to fill but turned out amazingly well.

She likes listening to Quran and enjoys playing with the seb7a, although she jiggles it or chews the beads but it’s a great start.

Ramadanish thought of the day:  Think of all of your blessings and thank Allah for them, try and remember the little things as well as the big things.

Ramadan Kareem to you all.
