Rainlender rocks

I had been looking for a smart calendar for my desktop, something small, compact, good looking, easy to use and easy on the memory. I forget how I cam across Rainlender, but I am sure it was totally by chance because I was quite surprised to find it. It looks cool, you can skin it if you wish. It also has a To Do list and an events list, which are awesome because I always tend to forget the things I need to do and I usually have a text file that sits on my Desktop where I keep writing notes and taking them off.
