On Commenting

I am really curious about why and how often people leave comments on blogs.  Personally, I usually leave a comment when something is really interesting and I have something to add.  Commenting sometimes is a great conversation starter and creates an opportunity for an even more interesting idea to evolve.  You can support ideas, argue logic and so many other things.

Please let me know by answering the poll and leaving a comment on what you really think about blog commenting.

  • Just had to comment! I usually comment on the blogs I frequent unless I just have nothing to say, but that’s rare!

  • I only comment when somebody writes something that’s false or incomplete information..

I think it’s the teacher in me, I love reading blogs and I follow them post by post (like this blog!) to get as much info as possible, but when I see something that I know is false or offensive or incomplete, I have to set that person straight hehe

  • I rarely add comments.
And I comment at things attract me,things I like, or things I have a point of view about.

  • I don’t usually comment. I have been silently following blogs for a while. I comment when I really have something to say. I comment on my friends blogs more :) I feel comfortable sharing what I have in mind.

But I have come across many bloggers who think of commenting as an etiquette. They would like you to comment to know that you have passed by. It is kind of exhausting finding comments on some of their posts :) Unless the comment is the sort of “ra2asa we betr2os”
