… finally cast on the Vitamin D cardigan by Heidi Kirrmaier.
I originally wanted to knit this back in May of 2012. I purchased the yarn and it arrived in June. I was so busy at the time that I never had a chance to cast on. It is a sport weight yarn, Wool of the Andes, in Merlot Heather. It is a beautiful reddish brown with flecks of red.
So today I pulled it out and knit a test swatch, made 4 new stitch markers and cast on the actual thing.
