A lovely knitter called Knitterlee on ravelry sent me her pattern for this headband.
It is just a lovely headband / ear warmer. I did make some minor modifications, I didn’t use a button because I like them with ties, so I crocheted an Icord, next time I will just knit it but I was too lazy to get up and find a pair of DPNs. I also didn’t do the SC border because I wanted it to stretch a little with wear.
The yarn I used was the cotton I had dyed last year. I still have a pink skein so I am thinking of making another headband, we will see.
And boy, does it feel great to have finished something.
This came out so cute and looks great on your little girl who is a natural for headbands and hats, I see!
My daughter in law prefers ties, too, as she has long hair she likes to sometimes where in a clip and would need the extra length for adjusting.
And it looks great even without the sc edging! Nice!

Thanks Lisa, I also like ties because after a while the cotton relaxes a bit and it becomes too loose, this way I can just tighten it. She does look good in hats and head bands but she won’t keep them on too long 🙂 I have a dream of actually getting her to school and she still looks neat.
