Meanwhile, I am just knitting a simple cardigan for my little one
I am running really low on yarn and I am hoping to finish the second sleeve and knit a collar without running out. I always hate having to buy an extra ball of yarn and only using very little of it, because then I never know what to do with a partial skein.
I also finally finished the socks I started in September and gifted them to my mom.
I also made another headband. I love knitting those, they are quick, addictive and very practical if you have a little girl with crazy hair.
I have also been on a graphic novel kick recently.
I was the birthday girl last Saturday
If you follow me on instragram you would know that I love finding and taking pictures of fire hydrants.
And pretending to be a tourist in Alexandria, Egypt too.
Are you on instagram? let me know what your handle is, I love following other crafty folk, I am jessyzz (with an extra z).
Because this is just a newsflash.
I finished last week’s socks
Got a huge jar of Perler beads
Made a coaster
And a bracelet
And knit a headband
Oh and the Hexacket Hat Pattern has been released.
It is available at Ravelry and Craftsy
It is always exhilarating when I release a new pattern. I always feel like saying “My job here is done” out loud. Weeks of work (designing, knitting, pattern writing and testing) are complete and it is ready.
This tote is knit in one piece top down, with no seaming. It is a fun knit without being too complex or boring and at the end you get a pretty tote that you can use as a market bag or as an every day bag. You can use leather handles or rings or whatever floats your boat.
You can find it on Etsy, Craftsy and Ravelry.
Starting now until the 24th of December, I am having a holiday season sale, so if you want to buy yourself a small gift or gift a pattern to your favorite knitter or crocheter, come on in and take a look.
Click the link above and you will be automatically using the coupon code, or just go to my ravelry shop and use coupon code
I loved knitting this hat. It was fun and turned out really cute and chic. It is a quick knit that uses around 70 yards of DK weight yarn.
It fits children aged 3 and up and since it is very stretchy it can also fit an adult but if you would like a larger hat you could use Worsted weight yarn and go up a needle size.
It is available now on ravelry.
I am having a 29% discount on all my patterns on Ravelry.com starting today until the 17th of November (hint: I’ll be 29 on the 17th).
The discount doesn’t show until you have added the item to your shopping cart, so you will be able to see it before you pay don’t worry.
This was one of my favorite bags to design and crochet. I loved making it so much that I made two. Something that I have rarely ever do. Actually I’ve only ever made two of the same bag once and they were two different sizes and that was the Carry Me Away Bag.
I first made the rainbow colored one and then decided to make a more sensible one. I use both as project bags and they are so useful.
Simple, cute and very practical. A lunch bag or project bag are just two of the uses for this bag. It is small but very roomy and can easily hold a lot of things. Perfect for beginners as a first bag. Make it in a solid color and embellish or lots of different colors for stripes.
This is suitable for a brave beginner who can work in the round.
Finished size 28 cm wide at the top, 15 cm wide at the bottom and 17 cm high without the handles.
Instructions are also included for making a solid base using a sheet of plastic and some fabric. You can make it without the base but it adds durability and sturdiness.
The pattern is 7 pages long + the cover page.
The pattern costs 3$.
