href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/designers\/linda-permann?page=1\" target=\"_blank\">Linda Permann<\/a> who blogs at\u00a0<a title=\"LindaMade\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lindamade.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lindamade<\/a>. \u00a0The idea behind the book is adding crochet pieces to clothing and other items with crochet to make them even prettier and some other projects that are awesome on their own like earings and the Lace bowl. \u00a0I have used the trims in the dictionary section for trimming scarfs and the motifs for various other projects. \u00a0That&#8217;s the beauty of this book, it doesn&#8217;t tie you down to the projects in it but opens a whole new world of crochet. \u00a0I also love the introduction which includes techniques and stitches. \u00a0It is a good addition to your library if you are a newbie or a crochet guru not just for its content but for its pretty photography too. \u00a0No afghans or sweaters from this designer (at least none that I know of) but lots of funky interesting projects that are smart additions to your wardrobe, accessories or things to make your home prettier. \u00a0That&#8217;s what I love about crochet, it is a medium that gives you alot of freedom. \u00a0My grandmother has a friend who crochets stuff and I grew up seeing lots of baby afghans (the standard baby shower gift from my grandma), tissue box covers and potholders. \u00a0Once I started learning I found out that there is a whole world of designs that are modern and cool, <a title=\"Crochet Adorned on Amazon\"
