I came across them on Pinterest and thought they were the coolest looking dolls ever. They are whimsical yet sophisticated. I love how the options are unlimited and a simple change of fabric you have a totally different looking doll. <\/p>\n<p>I ordered the book <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1446301583\/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=1446301583&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;tag=chomininaj0ae-20\">Tilda&#39;s Studio: Over 50 fresh projects for you, your home and loved ones<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=chomininaj0ae-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=1446301583\" id=\"blogsy-1378730628407.1602\" class=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" alt=\"\"\/> and just love it. It is a beautiful book. The photography is uplifting and all of the projects are fun and playful. I especially love the wool pixie hat. <\/p>\n<p>But I just had to make a Tilda angel first. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/50745149@N05\/9707095961\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.staticflickr.com\/2850\/9707095961_a07efe5f58.jpg\" id=\"blogsy-1378730628449.5076\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<p> It was fairly easy to make but it was time consuming. The arms and legs are skinny at the tips and were fiddly to fill, not impossible, just difficult. I was apprehensive about making the hair and the instructions in the book didn&#39;t feel clear enough. But after a little bit of googling and watching a couple of tutorials on youtube I went ahead and did it. At first I was going to make her hair brown, but brown is boring so I went with pink. She is an angel doll after all and the doll hair police don&#39;t care. <\/p>\n<p>I definitely plan on making more.
