Real because they are double layered to prevent burns. I love them and am wondering why it took me so long to make then. I had an oven mitten which got so ugly that I had to throw away so these were badly needed. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.chocolatemintsinajar.com\/craft\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/20130920-130013.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.chocolatemintsinajar.com\/craft\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/20130920-130013.jpg\" alt=\"20130920-130013.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nOne is just granny squares and the other is an African flower.
