I woke up early (as always) and I had 2 t shirts that I bought the week before and wanted to make t shirt dresses with.  I am trying to use up left over fabrics.  In under an hour I had two dresses.  It helped that I used a rotary cutter, those things really do make life easier, I am so glad I finally got one and a decent sized cutting mat (well it is not big enough to cut patterns for me, but it is perfect for little people sewing).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/chocolatemintsinajar\/5675626540\/\" title=\"TShirt Dress 2 by ChocolateMintsInaJar, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5141\/5675626540_523980798f.jpg\" width=\"376\" height=\"500\" alt=\"TShirt Dress 2\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/chocolatemintsinajar\/5675062915\/\" title=\"TShirt Dress 1 by ChocolateMintsInaJar, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5061\/5675062915_0e829dd126.jpg\" width=\"377\" height=\"500\" alt=\"TShirt Dress 1\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>These are just awesome, you just cut the t shirt shorter and sew on the skirt part.  The skirt part is basically just a rectangle of fabric, hemmed at the bottom and gathered at the top.<\/p>\n<p>Seriously, whomever came up with this idea is a genius.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I know it is not Friday, but I made these last Friday morning.
