Or maybe I like that they are medium sized projects. Smaller than blankets but bigger than bags and hats. The fact that they also make beautiful accessories, I don&#8217;t really think of shawls as garments. I also probably love that knitting uses less yarn so it is perfect for my stash busting mission. I am still slower at knitting than I am at crochet, but I adore the slower rhythm.  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.chocolatemintsinajar.com\/craft\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/20110921-081222.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.chocolatemintsinajar.com\/craft\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/20110921-081222.jpg\" alt=\"20110921-081222.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The yarn is also really lovely, it is 100% wool, worsted and called Efsun by a company called Hamalaya, which I got on my last trip to Egypt.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I seem to have gotten myself a new addiction; shawl knitting.
