{"id":889,"date":"2011-10-07T17:46:33","date_gmt":"2011-10-07T14:46:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chocolatemintsinajar.com\/craft\/?p=889"},"modified":"2011-10-07T11:23:01","modified_gmt":"2011-10-07T08:23:01","slug":"fridays-finished-object-finally-sewing-machine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chocolatemintsinajar.com\/craft\/2011\/10\/fridays-finished-object-finally-sewing-machine\/","title":{"rendered":"Friday&#8217;s Finished Object: I finally took out the sewing machine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I think my sewing machine has been sad for weeks. \u00a0I might have used it slightly but no big projects recently at all. \u00a0Winter is near so I decided the little one needed a new jacket. \u00a0I used the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.chocolatemintsinajar.com\/craft\/2010\/11\/fridays-finished-object-jacket\/\" target=\"_blank\"> same pattern<\/a> from last year, only a size bigger. \u00a0I even let the little one help me \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Hooded Jacket by ChocolateMintsInaJar, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/chocolatemintsinajar\/6219766960\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/farm7.static.flickr.com\/6158\/6219766960_8944910349.jpg\" alt=\"Hooded Jacket\" width=\"333\" height=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>She wouldn&#8217;t stand still long enough for me to take a decent picture, and the weather isn&#8217;t cool enough for us to take it and play outside yet. \u00a0Oh and she&#8217;s wearing the jacket at home because she&#8217;s waiting for it to rain (inside) and tights, yeah because that&#8217;s how we roll around here.<\/p>\n<p>With the left over fabric we made a little camera bag for her little camera<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Little Camera Bag by ChocolateMintsInaJar, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/chocolatemintsinajar\/6219767042\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/farm7.static.flickr.com\/6225\/6219767042_b74b94c013.jpg\" alt=\"Little Camera Bag\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This time I actually let her do the sewing with me, she pressed the foot pedal thingy while I maneuvered the fabric, she loved it.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"A new bag by ChocolateMintsInaJar, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/chocolatemintsinajar\/6219245073\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/farm7.static.flickr.com\/6055\/6219245073_49df645e7a.jpg\" alt=\"A new bag\" width=\"500\" height=\"334\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I also made another bag from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ithinksew.com\/ProductDetails.aspx?pgProductID_int=28\" target=\"_blank\">Ithinksew&#8217;s <\/a> Lindsay Bag, but it is too small for what I had in mind for it, but since I got the combo pattern I am going to make the Melanie one soon too.
