Baby Blanket is a all wrapped up {Friday’s FO}

Remember the blanket I was working on? Well it is all wrapped up.

After joining the squares (and weaving in a gazillion ends) I worked 3 rounds of 3DC clusters in white then alternated between the four colors and the white, then 4 more rounds of white only then just the colors.  Finally 4 rounds of single crochets using the colors.  I did this because I felt that the edging needed to be more stable than the clusters.  I felt it still needed something so I worked a single round of white bobbles all around.

The bobbles took forever and a day (not really but yeah so exhausting and time consuming) but were worth it, they sort of curl around the edge so the edge looks neat and feels strong to handle a new born baby.

UntitledI wrapped it up in some ribbon and found these awesome printable care labels from laylock.  They are cute and there are the care symbols on the back that you can fill in so that the recipient knows how to care for the knit item.

What have you finished this week?
