A work in progress; a baby blanket

Not colors I would normally pick out but they are so pretty together.

I spent quite some time deciding what I wanted to crochet. Then it hit me. A simple granny square blanket.

Weaving in the ends was a pain, but totally worth it.

I am now working on the border. I am loving it. Bright and happy.

This blanket is SO cute. I have a question…..I saw your piles of squares and they didn’t have the last row of white. Did you crochet the last row of white to each square and then sew them together?
    Thanks ~ Jan

I don’t sew them together, I join as I go along, so I work the final round in white while joining them. You work the first square whole then start joining the next ones

What yarn did you use? I love brightness of the colors and they look so soft. It looks beautiful.
