I am still working on the blanket. It is crazy bright. Not my colors at all but for some reason I am totally drawn to these colors .  I still want to work the border colors once more and then find a nice edging for it.  I can not wait to give this to the mommy to be.  I believe that every baby deserves a handmade gift.  It is a gift made with love, a gift that takes time and energy to make.  Not a two minute decision at a store for something that was mass produced in China or Bangladesh.  No offense to China or Bangladesh, babies have a whole life time to wear and use things like that.  But a simple gift that was made just for that baby and no one else.

It says Braver. Stronger. Smarter.  From Winni the Pooh’s quote “”Promise me you’ll always remember: You’re braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”  I always want to remember that.  I have am lucky enough to have been challenged in life enough to know that I am braver than I believe, stronger than I seem and smarter than I think.  Sometimes we forget, and life scares us so this is just a reminder that whatever crosses my path, things will be ok, I will find a way to handle it.
