Crochet Cuties: Pin Cushions

The standard crochet pin cushion is that hat one, no offense to it, it is cute and all but these are way cuter.  Pin cushions are a utilitarian item, if you own pins you have to stick them somewhere (unless of course you only use them on your voodoo dolls or something).  I actually love them, I’ve sewn three (one of them is almost 20 years old and was hand sewn by me) and a crochet one, but I definitely want more.

Tea cup pin cushion

This is perfect for tea lovers.  You could also leave out the tea bag label and pretend it is coffee.

Irish Crochet Pin Cushion

I’ve always thought Irish crochet was so pretty, a pin cushion would be small enough to get me started.

Tomato and Strawberry Pin Cushion

If you sew then you will probably know why I threw this one in too.

I think the colors appealed to me the most, but I still like the ruffles and the detail s like the different stitches.

Naalepuder
Nålepute

I have the fabric equivalent of this one which I can’t even pronounce its name in my head, but it is so cute.

And yes spelling cushion always confuses me

Yes but they are quick and small so you could make them all and use them or give them as gifts too
