Wednesday’s WIP: Parking Lot Hat

And it is not really a WIP because I finished it today :-D. The little one picked out the yarn from my stash box and said “make me a hat” and I thought what a perfect idea. A small little project that would entertain me while I wait for her to finish preschool because I try to go a little early to beat the rush hour.

It knit up much quicker than I thought it would and it is all done now and she is happily wearing it. She is a little hat lover, that one, so I think I might make more soon.

The yarn is Alize Cotton Gold Batik (DK weight), I used size 6 (4mm) needles and the pattern is the Simple Beanie aka Lollipop Hat

She has a thing for hats, and I guess they do a good job of keeping her hair tame without having to wrestle with hairbands and headbands all day
