More than a month later {Wednesday’s WIPs}

A lot has happened in the last month. And I really mean A LOT.

I am back in Kuwait.

I am going to tell you what has been going on.

I finally spray painted the yarn bowl that my sister made me

I finished the blue and green dress

I finished the crochet scarf.  It is more like a skinny blanket

I finished my #crochet wrap/scarf. It is quite huge.

I crocheted a yoga mat bag for my sister

It is a #crochet #yoga mat bag for @rjjayy

I finished the shawl

The finished shawl. #knitting

I cast on gloves,  real gloves, with fingers.

Glove #knitting

and finished them

I knit a pair of real gloves. Woot. Woot. #knitting

I am still working on the crochet uncoordinated blanket, it is a yarn monster

The #crochet blanket is growing. Slowly. But growing.

Purchased some super bulky

And some super bulky. #yarn for a big #knitting project

and started a blanket

#knitting on the blanket.

Cast on a third Marakeb Shawl

I cast on the shawl. And using my new #stitchmarkers #knitting.

and finished it

The #marakebshawl is dry. #knitting I love it. This was my third one.

Cast on a pair of socks, toe up, two at a time. Not my favorite way of doing things, but I want to use up all the yarn.

Sock #knitting progress.

Organized by sock yarn stash

Yup. I have a #yarn stash now. This is just the sock yarn. #knitting

And crocheted a tiara.

So if you are still here and you are still counting I have two blankets in the works and a pair of socks. I am fighting a case of startitis and will try not to cast on anything until at least on project is done.  I am also on a yarn diet (or trying) I really need to use up some of what I already have just to make space for new yarn.

What have you all been upto lately?

You’re so inspiring!! I’m staying home and taking care of the house now for my partner and I because I can’t find a job here. (I don’t speak the local language and no one seems to want to hire an English teacher now.) I just discovered your old blog yesterday (something about Chocolates in a Jar?) and from that, your facebook page. Your facebook page lead me here, and I’m so excited! I love to knit and I can’t wait to see what I can learn from you. I want to be able to create something and sell it online– on etsy or ravelry or something like that. You’ve inspired me to start making my own patterns. 😀 I’ll be watching your blog!

Thank you so much. I am so happy you felt inspired, that is why I started this blog in the first place. Just jump right in, I am sure you will do great.
